ABOUT YFS
Young Founders School (YFS) is a global nonprofit dedicated to making entrepreneurship and internship experiences accessible to secondary school students worldwide. We bridge the gap between traditional schooling and the AI-driven future of work through hands-on programs in applied AI, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and real-world internships.
YFS currently operates internationally and has reached 35,000+ students, supported by 800+ mentors and 400+ host companies.
MENTOR ROLE
YFS Mentors play a dual role as guides and supervisors during a 4–8 week internship program. As a mentor, you will:
- Support a student through weekly 1-hour sessions
- Help shape project execution and set realistic deliverables
- Share industry knowledge and insights
- Provide feedback and encourage reflection
- Guide the student toward a final project presentation
You'll have access to curated project templates that you can tailor to your expertise. This is a low-stakes, high-impact way to contribute to youth development while growing your own leadership and coaching skills.
